Capsiplex Burn is an all-natural weight loss supplement. It’s like any other natural supplement you might take, like a once-a-day vitamin, but all of the ingredients used are there to make weight loss easier.

I think that it is important to stress that we are talking about a natural product here – there are many products on the market that employ steroids or chemicals to trigger weight loss, and this is not one of them. I wouldn’t go anywhere near those unless explicitly told to by a medical professional – there is too much that can go wrong.

That’s the important part about this, for all weight loss supplements. I know the feeling of just wanting to take a ‘magic pill’ and the weight will just drop off – but we all know that long-term health success pivots from the correct lifestyle, and not a capsule.

So if you see a product suggesting that it will work without you putting in the effort, avoid it. You do the work, and the supplement is there to… well, supplement the effort that you put in. The clue is in the name, really!

I have tried to find a bit more information about the people behind Capsiplex, and I have found very little. This could be seen as a slight concern, as I personally would like to know a bit more about the company that is making something that I will be putting into my body.

However, the fact that they are selling worldwide and seem to have plenty of positive (verified) reviews does help to ease my concerns.

Capsiplex Burn will help you lose weight – that’s the ultimate benefit that they claim on their official website. However, as we mentioned above, there are six different benefits that they say you will get if you take this supplement. Let’s take a look at each one:

Attack Fat

The first claim is that Capsiplex Burn will ‘Attack Fat’. This is a striking yet pretty vague claim.

What they mean by this is this: your body stores up fat that it doesn’t use, and this is what causes us to put on weight. If we don’t burn it (usually through exercise), then it sits on our body – in my case, just around the middle…

Some of the ingredients in Capsiplex Burn are designed to help increase the efficiency of your body’s fat burning, and therefore you will burn up more when you exercise. This is particularly helpful for people like me who tend to have stubborn fat stores in their body that are hard to lose.

Fight Fatigue

This one is a bit simpler to explain. Some of the ingredients in Capsiplex Burn are there in the hope they will give you more energy.

Speaking from personal experience, it’s that initial push that I sometimes lack – that get-up-and-go that makes you start exercising. Being self-employed and having two young kids, my biggest complaint is that I’m tired. Taking a supplement that will kickstart my energy and motivations is very appealing, and would help so much in my quest to shift some weight.

Crush Cravings

If we all stuck to three balanced meals a day, we would all be in great shape. The problem is there are so many temptations out there, so many delicious foods, and our bodies actively crave foods that are high in fat and sugar – things that make us put on weight.

Capsiplex is designed to help speed up this process, so that we convert more fat into energy. A slow metabolism can lead to us feeling really tired, and even affect our skin and hair – so speeding it up is a good thing all round for people like me who are struggling to lose weight.

Preserve Muscle

A common misconception is that if you are losing weight, you are losing muscle. That doesn’t have to be the case, and Capsiplex Burn has a strong focus on muscle building (as a quick glance at the images they use in their promotion will tell you).

To be honest, this isn’t as big of a concern of mine at the moment – I am not concerned about becoming a musclebound adonis. I just want to lose a bit of weight and feel a bit better about myself. But I can see the appeal, and maybe more muscle will be a goal for me in the future.

Ignite Workouts

This is probably the vaguest of their claims, and it is sort of covered by some of the previous ones, but what they are saying here is that you will feel stronger and therefore burn more calories when you work out.

That’s great, and will work as added motivation for me to get moving – and I suspect I am not alone in that.

So those are the benefits – how do they hope to achieve them? Let’s take a look at the ingredients.

Capsiplex Burn Ingredients

Capsimax

What is Capsimax? It’s a patented cayenne pepper extract, specifically designed to help you burn more fat. The theory behind this is that capsaicinoids, which are found in red peppers like cayenne pepper, can help speed up our metabolism, and therefore help us burn more fat.

This isn’t just hypothetical guesswork, either, this has been proven in clinical trials.

The claim on the Capsiplex website is that Capsimax can help boost “resting energy expenditure by 6%”, which is positive, but I think it’s not particularly helpful to promote the product. You’re not going to lose weight simply through ‘resting energy expenditure’ – you’ve got to get out there and do the work yourself.

But this does emphasise how helpful it can be when you do – if you burn more fat doing nothing, imagine what it can do when you are working out.

Furthermore, Capsimax has been proven to help suppress appetite, meaning people that take it feel fuller for longer, and so consume fewer calories – although I would personally like to see more research on this to determine the extent to which it works.

InnoSlim (Astragalus and Ginseng)

Another patented ingredient now – InnoSlim. The idea here is that these ingredients blended together will increase the production of adiponectin in our bodies, which is a hormone that starts the fat burning process.

It also helps to decrease the amount of glucose that we absorb (which can cause us to gain weight), and can help build up muscle rather than fat.

There is scientific evidence to back up these claims – ginseng has been used to help aid weight loss, as has astragalus, although the only studies for this have been conducted on animals, so more research is needed here. The theory is sound, though.

Caffeine (from Green Tea Extract & Green Coffee Extract)

The inclusion of caffeine may put some people off if they have any caffeine sensitivity, but I feel that its inclusion here is justified.

Caffeine is considered to be a great stimulant for our metabolism, while at the same time giving our energy a boost. On top of that, green tea is packed full of antioxidants, which help keep us healthy, which means we are more likely to work out more often.

B Vitamins (B3, B6, B12)

If we are low on B vitamins, we are low on energy. That’s a scientific fact.

So, by including this combination of B vitamins in Capsiplex Burn’s formula, they are ensuring that your levels of B vitamins are healthy. There have been claims that anyone taking vitamin B supplements will experience an energy boost, but that may not be true if you are already getting enough.

While more studies are required, I feel like there is plenty here to justify its inclusion in Capsiplex Burn.

L-Tyrosine

We usually find L-tyrosine in supplements that are more concerned with brain function, as it has been proven to help with neurotransmitters and therefore have an impact on our focus and memory.

L-tyrosine can also help with motivation – so when you are lying on the sofa, a hit of L-tyrosine could be just what you need to trigger a healthier lifestyle. We should never underestimate the mental aspect of getting fit and losing weight.

L-Arginine HCI

L-Arginine HCI is an amino acid which is a precursor to nitric oxide, which in turn gives our blood flow a bit of a boost when we exercise. Better blood circulation means better performance, and better performance means we will burn more calories, and lose more weight.

L-Arginine HCI is also been linked to having a positive impact on our blood sugar levels.

However, I would suggest that people who aren’t used to taking caffeine regularly should ease themselves into it – maybe work their way up to the full dose over a few days – as caffeine has been known to cause headaches and jitters, especially if your body is not used to it.

What’s it like to use Capsiplex Burn?

I put Capsiplex Burn to the test for six weeks, and this is what happened:

I really wanted Capsiplex to work – and I think it’s important to mention that going in. I have spent my life just being a little bit overweight, and I had started to believe that it was something I would have to live with for the rest of my life.

Usually, when I’m in a stint of trying to get to my ideal weight, it takes me a good few weeks of struggle – both mentally and physically – to power through that barrier. Once I hit that barrier, things start to get a little easier and enjoyable. But it takes an awful lot of willpower to get to that point.

But in my second week of taking Capsiplex Burn, I was running with a smile on my face – not desperately looking at my watch to see when this hell would be over!
