AIM:-  The aim of the project is/ was to record  and analyse the changes on my body after surgery using CAT/MRI/XRAY/PHOTOGRAPHS from the surgical process.
The process was partly to investigate therapeutic benefit of managing my pain and healing through creative activity.

OBJECTIVE:-  To record and inform through making ( mark making on 2D surfaces, including stitch, print, wax, paint, ephemeral materials from the operating suite and hospital wards) the changes of healing on the body.

Regional Voices has updated its briefing about the health transition and the implications for the voluntary and community sector (VCS), following the outcomes of the first Future Forum listening exercise. The briefing outlines the 'emerging' clinical commissioning groups, Health & Well Being Boards, HealthWatch, PCT clusters, the NHS Commissioning Board and the transition timeline. LVSC has adapted a London version of this briefing.

Any Qualified Provider Map of Services

An online interactive map has been published outlining the services that will be opened up to Any Qualified Provider (AQP) from April 2012. It will allow patients, commissioners and providers to see the local health services where there will be a choice of provider for patients. Also available are a range of materials to support AQP implementation, including service implementation packs for commissioners.

Improving the experience of care for people using adult NHS mental health services

NICE have published clinical guidance offering evidence-based advice on ensuring a good experience of care for people who use adult NHS mental health services.

A quality standard has also been published, describing high-quality care for adults using mental health services in the NHS in England.
