Every six months, the Chairmanship of the National Alliance will pass between the members of the National Alliance. From January until June 2013, Clive Parkinson, Director, Arts for Health is the Chair of the National Alliance. Any questions about the activity of the National Alliance or for comments or interviews about the impact of the arts on health, should be directed to Clive. He can be reached at c.parkinson@mmu.ac.uk .

In recent months there has been increasing media interest in the ways in which the arts can deliver improvements in healthcare. See the Resources section for some examples.

For media – the links on the left of this page to regional organisations are a good first port of call. These organisations will be able to suggest local examples of the best arts in health practice.
